Building a Communications Engine at DoiT
I built the communications department โ press releases, partner PR, executive voice, and award applications, from scratch, during one of the most eventful periods in the company's history.

DoiT

Background
When I joined DoiT, there was no communications function. No PR process, no editorial program, no executive voice strategy. I built all of it โ and ran it throughout one of the most eventful periods in the company's history: two acquisitions, a $1.5 billion deal with Google Cloud, global expansion, and back-to-back Partner of the Year awards from both Google and AWS.
Every press release, every CEO blog post, every engineering article, every media placement โ I owned the strategy, the writing, and the execution.
Press & Media - 20+ press releases covering DoiT's biggest moments
I wrote and placed every press release DoiT published โ covering two major company acquisitions, a $1.5 billion deal with Google Cloud, global market expansion, C-suite appointments, and major partnership milestones. Business Wire, Bloomberg, and Yahoo Finance backlinked many of these stories. Highlights include:

Partner PR - Placing DoiT's biggest story in the right outlets
Working in close collaboration with Google Cloud's own PR team, I placed a feature story in CRN on DoiT's $1.5 billion deal with Google Cloud โ one of the most significant partner deals in the ecosystem. I also secured multiple mentions and quotes on the Google Cloud Blog, putting DoiT's voice directly inside Google's own massive content channels.
Award Applications - Writing the case for DoiT's industry recognition
Beyond the Google Cloud Global Partner of the Year โ which I ran as its own dedicated program โ I wrote the award application for the Google Cloud North American Partner of the Year Award, which DoiT also won. Each application required synthesizing complex business performance data into a compelling strategic narrative, built in close collaboration with sales, finance, and executive leadership.
Executive Communications - Building the CEO's voice across owned and earned channels
I ghost-wrote and managed executive communications for DoiT's CEO โ including LinkedIn posts amplifying major company milestones and a CEO blog post on the $1.5 billion Google Cloud deal. Every piece was written to serve a clear commercial purpose: building credibility, celebrating the team, and reinforcing DoiT's position in the market.
The Results
1. Every major milestone reached the right audiences
No company moment went unannounced. I made sure every acquisition, award, partnership, and executive hire reached the right audiences โ from Bloomberg to the Google Cloud Blog โ with a consistent, credible voice that reflected where DoiT was headed.
2. DoiT won the awards it deserved
The award applications I wrote helped DoiT claim the Google Cloud North America Partner of the Year โ building on the Global Partner of the Year win and cementing DoiT's reputation as the top Google Cloud partner in the world.
3. The CEO had a strong, consistent public voice
The executive communications I wrote helped position DoiT's CEO as a credible, visible leader in the cloud industry โ reinforcing the company's reputation at every level, from customers to potential hires to the press.
